What BIA does
- Considers strategic acquisitions of and investments in private businesses.
- Builds and operates ventures that carry their own brands.
- Publishes information through associated channels such as BIA Intelligence.
What BIA does not do
- Offer securities, a public fund or pooled investment products.
- Provide investment advice, brokerage, custody or transaction execution.
- Accept deposits or open investment accounts.
- Claim or represent any regulated status.
- Publish performance figures, returns or guarantees.
02Status of ventures and products
Every venture on this site carries a status — Operating, In development or Concept. A concept is not a product, and a venture in development is not available. Founder and partner inquiries are introductions only; they are not evidence of outside capital, a fund, portfolio companies or completed deals. See Ventures & Products.
03Regulated activity and partners
BIA does not carry out regulated financial services. Should any future venture require regulated activity, it will be conducted by or with appropriately authorised parties, whose roles will be identified here before launch.
04Conflicts of interest
BIA owns and operates the ventures listed on this site. Where BIA or a venture has an interest in a matter it discusses, that interest will be stated. A formal conflicts policy will be published here when adopted.
