01Why BIA exists
Many sound private businesses are underserved by capital that wants a quick exit. Their owners need a counterpart that will take the time to understand them and stay.
BIA was formed as a holding company so that it could do exactly that: acquire or invest in private businesses, keep them, and help them compound. A holding structure lets each business keep its own identity while sharing a patient owner.
The same structure lets BIA build. Where it sees a business worth creating rather than buying, it develops one, gives it its own name, and runs it within the group.
